Craniosacral Therapy and

Semato-Emotional Release

Craniosacral Therapy and Semato-Emotional Release

CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on method using a soft touch to release restrictions in the fascia and cellular memory. CST has been shown to improve the functioning of the central nervous system, as well as many other systems of the body. CST has also been shown to help with physical components related to somatic conditions under the umbrella of semato emotional release (SER).  Both CST and SER support post traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, pain reduction and deep relaxation, along with resetting the autonomic nervous system. Kari weaves these pieces during her sessions.

What to expect: A very gentle touch is used to 'listen' to the cerebrospinal fluid ebb and flow throughout the body as you are supported on a massage table fully clothed.  This 'listening' assesses resistance within the body structure and where body function is being affected. The therapy offers support to return to deeper balance physically and emotionally.  The therapeutic side of the work holds space for the body to re-establish original movement flow by assisting in the release of protective holding patterns that anchored during physical or emotional traumatic events. Many of Kari's clients report less pain, more ease of movement and lightness in their emotional awareness after a session.

Kari studied and learned craniosacral therapy and semato-emotional release from 2007-2010 through the Upledger Institute, founded by Dr. Upledger, DO. She embraced cultivating this modality when a naturopath she was mentoring with recognized her ability to feel energy. He encouraged her to take courses through the Upledger Institute and she has been weaving this technique into her holistic offerings since with beautiful results and client feedback. Kari loves facilitating any kind of energy healing, always with the intension for your highest potential. You do the healing; she offers a catalyst for potentiality in the shared space during your session.
